Christmas Craft Fair
A wonderful day filled with lots of love and laughter
A lot of happy faces and many giggles were heard around the hall throughout the day. Santa’s Little Helpers sprinkling joy throughout the hall. Even though it did rain. It didn’t stop our wonderful community joining us with our fabulous stall holders. The hall managed to raise £485 to help with repairs and improvements. We were very surprised that we managed to raise that much. Thank you to everyone who came and thank you to our committee who work so hard to keep the hall available to our community.
Let us introduce our Stall Holders
It’s always nice to know a little of what we had in store for you. Gradually as the tables were taken up we introduced the stall holders and what they will have on offer for you.
Perggals
Hi, I'm Stacey aka perggals. I have been in love with all crafts from a young age but focusing on jewellery right now. I make a range of jewellery from different mediums that I hope appeal to many types of people.'
Christmas Decorations by Sharon
Sharon says "I have been making handmade items for Christmas since during lock down. It has become a hobby & I thoroughly enjoy the reaction of customers when they discover that everything I sell has been either sewn, knitted or crocheted by myself"
Our Little Coffee Shop
With the refurbishment of the kitchen the committee provided cupcakes, coffee and tea in the Room of Requirement. Just off the main hall. A relaxing atmosphere. Many stayed for sometime having a lovely natter.
Zoe Scarpa with Usborne Books
Zoe joined us with a beautiful collection of books and a lucky dip that the children thoroughly enjoyed. She had this to tell us
‘My name is zoe I'm 36 years old, I'm married to my lovely hubby and we have our adopted son Daniel who is 4. I'm also a fully qualified nursery practitioner working part time at a local pre school.
I love doing my job and I also love that I can bring all my experience, knowledge and expertise into my usborne business. I can offer a personal service to individuals or to schools and pre schools to help identify particular books that are of interest as well as find out exactly what kind of book they need or want with regards to education.’
Oh Sew Pretty
Jill Langston from Oh Sew Pretty says ‘I make all fabric items - embroidered pocket cushions, Children’s playbooks and aprons, little teddies in a bed, tote bags, different designs of peg bags… and at Christmas time, gnomes and embroidered tree decorations.’
Bloom Knits by Katie
I adore knitting and am also beginning to incorporate crochet into my work. I make accessories with love from soft yarn to provide comfort, as well as anything cute that will bring a smile to someone's face. I am also open to custom orders and always happy for a discussion about a potential job.
I will be bringing a range of items with me to the market, including my lovely snowmen and indoor snowballs! I am hoping to be developing more Christmas items soon!
Thank you again,
Katie
